Technical Business Analyst Sql scripts expertise

We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in SQL scripting on SQL databases.

This is a fantastic, immediate opportunity to join a market-leading Reinsurance Brokerage known for innovative digital solutions that aim to enhance the future services of the industry. The role is primarily remote, with occasional visits to the offices in Holborn.

The ideal candidate will be a strong SQL Server script writer with excellent Business Analysis skills and experience. Clear and precise communication skills are essential to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your responsibilities will include improving quotation systems, gathering requirements from the business, and applying them via SQL scripts. You will also develop new rules within SQL Server Databases for innovative digital reinsurance products.

The key requirements are:

• Strong communication skills
• Business Analysis experience, working closely with the business to understand requirements
• Good logical thinking abilities
• Insurance knowledge is advantageous
• Experience with Mendix is desirable but not essential
• Programming background is a plus

You will work with the business to understand specific insurance product requirements, document rules for automated quoting, and implement these rules through SQL scripts. The position is remote, with bi-weekly visits to Holborn, London. The role is available immediately, with a salary around £31k, which will be reviewed and potentially increased within the first year based on performance and role requirements.
