ResponsibilitiesYOUR ROLE:
As a Business Analyst, you play a crucial role in ensuring that email campaigns meet business objectives, consumer needs, and technical requirements. You bridge the gap between business stakeholders and development teams (developers and engineers). You know how to gather requirements, communicate clearly, create detailed and accurate documentation, and participate in quality assurance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
Ideally, you have experience with email development projects, collaborating with creative and technical teams, partnering with your project and account managers, and identifying any potential risks ahead of time. You’re creative, solution-oriented, organized, collaborative and have exceptional people skills.
Required Skills- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years project management experience
- Entry-level agency experience preferred
- Email and direct mail experience required
- Database and customer segmentation experience required
- Data file layout and data feed knowledge and experience required
- Email marketing platform experience preferred (understanding of segmentation, automation, personalization)
- Email testing experience required
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Proven track record and experience in people collaboration
- Proven track record in issue identification and resolution
- Proficient in key software:
Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel, Power BI), Adobe Workfront or similar project management software - Technical aptitude/understanding of the principles and components of HTML development and testing
- Ability to support operations and development groups by following departmental policies and procedures, accurately complete timesheets, and attend mandatory information sessions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
RAPP s current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we’d like.
Compensation and BenefitsRAPP provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan. For more information regarding Omnicom benefits, please visit A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role, at the time of posting, is $56,000 - $67,000.
This range is specific to Detroit and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position. If your requirements fall outside of this range, you are still welcome to apply.
