Motorola Solutions Connectivity NG9-1-1 Routing Services is a portfolio of products and services that deliver the critical elements needed to enable and operate a Next Generation 9-1-1 Core Services (NGCS) solution. The call and multimedia routing subsystem technology is known as VESTA Router. VESTA Router is responsible for receiving incoming emergency calls, voice, SMS, and multimedia, in a NENA i3 SIP format from the originating service provider (OSP).

The VESTA NG9-1-1 Call Routing Service is specifically designed and engineered to provide a scalable solution that accommodates both legacy and Next Generation call routing.

Candidates can reside anywhere within the United States with access to air travel. This position allows remote access from a home office with 25-50% travel to customer sites.

• As the technical authority on a Next Generation Core Services project, the candidate will:
• Work with the customer to understand overall solutions needs and functionality of MSI and third party applications.
• Takes ownership of the technical solution from pre and post-sale.
• Work with the project manager to develop the project deployment schedule.
• Identify technical risks of the projects and work with PM on mitigation plans.
• Identify customer expectation mismatch to how products work and work with PM on mitigation plans.
• Be the technical counterpart with the PM in third party vendor, customer, and internal facing meetings.
• Owns project change control as it pertains to the overall technical solution.

Basic Requirements

• 3-5 years field related and engineering experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
• Legal authorization to work in Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) controlled areas by passing local and federal background checks

Target Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $115,000 USD
