The Role

We’re seeking a highly analytical and performance-driven User Acquisition Manager to lead and scale paid acquisition efforts for a soon-to-be-acquired viral social platform that will become one of Mode’s newest business units. This role will focus on executing and optimizing campaigns across major mobile and web channels to drive efficient user growth and monetization.

The ideal candidate is a data-obsessed performance marketer that lives and breathes Gen Z culture—Tik Tok trends, IG Reels pacing, meme fluency, viral loops, anonymous confession culture, creator dynamics, and tongue-in-cheek marketing.

You should bring a blend of:

  • Hands-on performance buying
  • Deep understanding of social-first creative
  • Collaborating with UGC creators + influencers
  • Strong analytical rigor and mobile UA fundamentals

You’ll collaborate closely with the GM, Product, and Monetization teams of the soon-to-be-acquired platform, as well as Mode’s centralized UA & Growth function, to deliver impactful results that drive sustained user and revenue growth.

Who You Are and What You’ll Do
  • Plan, execute, and scale paid UA campaigns across Meta, Tik Tok, Snapchat, and influencer-led distribution.
  • Build persona-aligned UA strategies targeting Gen Z and young millennial audiences across global markets
  • Manage and scale daily spend while maintaining efficient CAC, ROAS, and LTV metrics.
  • Conduct ongoing A/B and multivariate tests on hooks, formats, and creative concepts aligned with Tik Tok & IG Reels culture
  • Analyze campaign performance data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities.
  • Stay current on UA trends, platform changes, and emerging channels
  • Stay deeply embedded in youth culture, emerging formats, meme cycles, micro-influencer behaviors, new platform features, and social trends.
  • Help evolve the platform’s growth playbook, including experimentation in new markets and channels.
What You Bring to the Team
  • 3+ years of hands-on mobile UA buying, ideally for consumer social, creator tools, community apps, or Gen Z-first products.
  • Proven experience running campaigns on Meta, Tik Tok, and other social channels
  • Experience managing or collaborating with creators, influencers, and content partners.
  • Strong fluency in Gen Z culture:
    Tik Tok trends, meme formats, confession culture, authenticity movement, and social discourse.
  • Experience managing or supporting organic social accounts for youth-leaning brands is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of attribution, cohort analysis, and mobile measurement platforms (e.g., Apps Flyer, Adjust, Singular)
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis skills; SQL a plus
  • Experience partnering with creative teams to develop and test ad concepts
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, able to distill insights and recommendations clearly
  • Curious, adaptable, creative, and hands-on.
