We are seeking a Senior Strategy and Planning Specialist to work with Sony R&D members to conduct assessments of highly technical proposal submissions to the annual Sony Research Award Program. The role requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent) and three years of experience negotiating and overseeing implementation of university agreements/contracts, interfacing with U.S. university professors and staff, managing intellectual property, negotiating IP‑related terms, and coordinating with legal counsel, risk management, and export control departments.

In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree with five years of progressively responsible experience will be considered.

Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
