Enterprise Business & Technology Modernization is a cross-functional organization leading PG&E’s Propel program, a major business and technology modernization initiative designed to unlock customer value by simplifying collaborative work processes. Propel will migrate PG&E to the new version of SAP, S/4

HANA, presenting a unique opportunity for PG&E to standardize business processes, clean the technology core, and enable innovation for breakthrough change across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Through a phased approach, Propel will implement process standardization, operating model changes, data improvements, SAP, and other technology applications with a focus on incrementally improving business capabilities and delivering value.

Position Summary

The Contract Manager, Expert will play a pivotal role in PG&E’s Propel program, overseeing the lifecycle of multiple strategic 3rd party contracts. This role is responsible for ensuring that all parties adhere to the agreed terms, tracking key milestones, and managing renewals or amendments. The ideal candidate will be responsible monitoring, analysis, compliance & reporting while working with other departments to ensure consistent compliance practices are followed.

Reporting Relationship

The Contract Manager, Expert will report directly to Director of Propel.

The role is hybrid working from your remote office and in-person at the Oakland General Office 1-3X weekly or as business needs require.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although

we estimate the successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.

This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $114,000

Bay Area Maximum: $182,000

Job Responsibilities

• Acts as a subject matter expert regarding all contracting matters, providing direction and strategy recommendations.
• Manages complex contracts and change order terms including, but not limited to, interpretation of contract terms and mitigation of risks, working with key stakeholders.
• Develops complex scorecards to assess contract performance.
• Independently facilitates vendor performance discussions.
• Negotiates major dispute settlement with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Creates new and innovative approaches, tools and tactics to solve complex problems.
• Leads cross-functional projects or process improvement initiatives.
• Trains stakeholders on policy and complex contract issues.
• Provides quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) oversight for the contract performance team.
• Develops contract audit plan.
• Keeps track of program contracts and their associated obligations
