Initial Duration: 3 months (strong likelihood of extension)
Position Overview: Carex is partnering with a financial services leader to provide a Salesforce Administrator in a staff-augmentation capacity to support several active corporate initiatives, including an assessment phase expected to evolve into a larger, funded project following CLM vendor selection.
This role will manage day-to-day Salesforce administration, intake, configuration, and end-user support
, enabling the partner's internal Salesforce team to remain focused on upcoming strategic project work without disrupting ongoing business operations. The initial engagement is planned for three months, with a high likelihood of extension once long-term project funding is finalized.
The ideal candidate is a reliable, personable, and inquisitive problem solver who brings strong Salesforce administration experience, a logical understanding of business systems, and a passion for delivering user-friendly, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Salesforce Administration & Support:
Provide day-to-day system administration for Salesforce and related distribution systems. - Salesforce Administration & Support:
Manage user access, security settings, profiles, roles, and permissions. - Salesforce Administration & Support:
Perform Salesforce configuration updates, including objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and automation (Flows preferred). - Salesforce Administration & Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce system issues and user inquiries in a timely manner. - Salesforce Administration & Support:
Support release readiness activities, including testing, validation, and documentation. - Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain data integrity and quality across Salesforce through audits, cleanup, and proactive monitoring. - Data Management & Reporting:
Perform mass data updates using tools such as Data Loader or similar platforms. - Data Management & Reporting:
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support business visibility and decision-making. - Data Management & Reporting:
Partner with stakeholders to ensure accurate data capture and effective reporting structures. - Business Partnership & Process Improvement:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to assess needs, gather requirements, and recommend effective Salesforce solutions. - Business Partnership & Process Improvement:
Support Sales, Sales Operations, and/or Distribution business processes. - Business Partnership & Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements that balance user experience and data governance. - Business Partnership & Process Improvement:
Document system configurations, processes, and best practices. - Training & Enablement:
Deliver end-user support, onboarding, and training to ensure strong Salesforce adoption. - Training & Enablement:
Create and maintain user guides and training materials as needed. - Training & Enablement:
Serve as a trusted partner to users by explaining technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Prior experience as a Salesforce Administrator, supporting day-to-day administration and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce user management, security, reporting, and automation (Salesforce Flows highly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs, troubleshoot issues, and recommend practical solutions.
- Proficiency with data management tools such as Data Loader or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting Sales, Sales Operations, or Distribution teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt quickly to change.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience with Salesforce Knowledge.
- Exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Own Backup/Archiver, or other data manipulation and backup solutions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Experience supporting initiatives that transition from assessment phases into larger enterprise implementations.
