Customer Solutions Engineer

Overview

Staff Customer Solutions Engineer (DACH) me provides an open, hardware-independent service delivery platform for smart homes, small businesses, enterprises, and beyond. Our SaaS platform uses WiFi, AI, and machine learning to create the future of connected spaces and human experiences s remote role requires based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland with fluency in German and English.

• Technical Trusted Advisor:
  Engage with ISPs to understand technical and business requirements and demonstrate how Plume solutions meet and exceed those needs.
• Product Demos & Trials:
  Conduct product demonstrations and manage PoCs and field trials, showcasing the benefits of Plume’s technology.
• System Integration:
  Collaborate with internal teams to deliver Plume solutions within a customer ecosystem and integrate with BSS/OSS, CRM, ticketing, and AI platforms using APIs and other methods.
• Sales Enablement:
  Support the sales organization to drive revenue, achieve quotas, and contribute to business growth.
• Presentations & Events:
  Prepare and deliver presentations (e.g., QBRs) and represent Plume at industry events and conferences.
• Product Development Input:
  Provide feedback to product and engineering based on customer requirements and market trends.
• Technical Support:
  Offer local and remote technical support for PoCs, lab trials, and deployment ramp-ups to ensure a smooth customer journey.
• Industry Expertise:
  Stay up-to-date on networking, cloud architectures, and AI standards and technologies.

• Hands-on Technical
  
  Experience:
  
  Configuration and deployment of software/hardware (Wi-Fi, networking gear, cloud services). Understanding of cloud architectures and AI principles; knowledge of Residential and SMB Gateways is a plus.
• ISP SaaS
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience deploying large-scale SaaS network solutions to millions of endpoints for ISPs.
• Communication &
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Proven ability to build professional, cooperative relationships across all levels.
• Networking & Cloud
  
  Certifications:
  
  CWNA, CCNA, or AWS Solutions Architect or similar are highly preferred.
• Problem-Solving:
  Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience:
  
  5+ years in network, security, SaaS, and/or AI industries.
• Education:
  
  BS/BA in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Industry Knowledge:
  Knowledge of SDN, wireless technologies, and related offerings is preferred.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong written and oral communication.
• Travel:
  Ability to travel >70% of the time.

This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland and be fluent in both German and English.
