Data Engineer (SQL Server / SSIS) – Remote (LATAM) | 6–12 Month Contract
Location: Remote (LATAM-based candidates only)
Schedule: U.S. East Coast Hours (8 AM – 5 PM EST)
Duration: 6–12 months
We’re looking for an experienced SQL Server / SSIS Data Engineer to join our team on a high-impact data modernization initiative. This role is fully remote from LATAM and focuses on on-premise data engineering while the organization transitions toward Snowflake.
What You’ll DoBuild, enhance, and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS.
Develop and optimize stored procedures, views, and ingestion processes
.Clean, transform, and structure data for downstream analytics and reporting.
Manage multi-step workflows and scheduling in SSIS.
Work with customer, job, inventory, call center, and ERP datasets (no finance data).
Participate in daily stand-ups at 9 AM EST and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5+ years of hands‑on SQL Server development (queries, procedures, optimization).
Strong SSIS experience
, including complex ETL orchestration.Experience working with on‑premise data environments.
Solid understanding of business processes and data workflows.
Excellent communication skills
Professional remote work setup and ability to collaborate reliably.
