Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for employees across Windows and macOS environments
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities, including device provisioning, account setup, and access management
- Maintain and manage hardware and software inventories, including asset tracking, lifecycle management, and documentation of assigned devices and applications
- Support endpoint management and patching activities using Jamf and Ninja One
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for onsite and remote users
- Assist with identity and access management tasks in Okta and Google Workspace
- Support network‑related requests and troubleshooting in Cisco Meraki environments
- Assist with monitoring and responding to endpoint security alerts in Crowd Strike
- Support SaaS tools, including Zoom, Git Hub, and AWS (basic access and user support)
- Document incidents, requests, and procedures in the IT service management system
- Follow established security, access control, and compliance procedures (e.g., SOC
2)
- 1–2 years of professional experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems support role
- Working knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting
- Familiarity with endpoint management or MDM tools (Jamf experience strongly preferred)
- Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts
- Exposure to cloud‑based productivity tools (Google Workspace, Zoom)
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts (Wi‑Fi, VPNs, DNS)
- Interest in IT security and best practices in a compliance‑driven environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills with a consistent focus on delivering a positive end‑user experience
- Ability to work independently during onsite hours and manage competing priorities
- Preferred certifications (CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+)

At YCharts, we are committed to pay equity and transparency in all locations, including compliance with local pay disclosure requirements: the Total Cash Compensation range is $45,000 - $50,000 USD inclusive of bonuses and variable compensation. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience.
Hybrid Office RequirementsThis is a part‑time role with an expected weekly commitment of approximately 32 hours in our Chicago Office. Onsite presence is required Tuesday through Thursday during standard business hours to support end users and core IT operations, while Monday and Friday offer flexibility to work from home. Weekly schedules may vary based on business needs and are typically structured across four days (e.g., Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday).
