Systems Analyst, IT Consultant, IT QA Tester / Automation
Job Description
This is a remote position for a long‑term client assignment. The ideal candidate lives within the Eastern or Central time zones.
As a Mid‑Senior Tester with Lighthouse Technologies, you will be responsible for analysis and review of the project documentation to design and execute software tests. You will communicate testing status directly with the project team and may lead a small team of software testers. You will review requirements, business and system use cases, technical specifications, and other project documentation to design, write, and maintain test cases.
You will document and communicate defects, as well as verify defect resolution and remediation efforts. You will be accountable for creating and maintaining rigorous documentation standards in line with the client’s standard operating procedures. You may also be asked to participate in major system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance, as well as working with project teams that include stakeholders and presenting to senior management and customers.
Salary range: $65K‑85K.
The Ideal Candidate- Minimum of 4‑10+ years of software testing experience
- Lives in the Eastern or Central time zones
- EDI and API testing experience
- Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- ISTQB Software Testing Certification
- Test automation experience
- Knowledge of Software Testing fundamentals, techniques, and terminology
- Capable of meeting with and working directly with clients to understand their needs and solve their problems
- Superior attention to detail
- Well organized and able to prioritize
- Strong self‑management skills with the ability to independently set goals and take initiative to achieve them
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong grammar and spelling
