The Security Solution Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the success of Managed Threat Protection Services (MTPS) customers by providing expert technical support and operational oversight for Proofpoint email security solutions. This position focuses on P3/P4 service requests, daily monitoring tasks, and collaboration with the MTPS Delivery team to maintain optimal performance and security for our customers.

• Actively contribute to the Managed Threat Protection Services program by ensuring adherence to best practices and responding promptly to customer requests for rule additions, feature modifications, policy updates, routing changes, etc.
• Assist in handling customer escalations, monitor and triage support cases within defined service level objectives (SLOs), and collaborate with team members to resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform daily monitoring of email security infrastructure, support primary engineers by accurately following program runbooks, and collaborate with team members to resolve customer requests and initiatives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on defined markets. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for a tenured employee.

This role may be eligible for variable compensation and/or equity. We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible time off, a comprehensive well-being program with two paid Wellbeing Days and two paid Volunteer Days per year, plus a three-week Work from Anywhere option.

Base Pay Ranges

• SF Bay Area, New York City Metro Area:
  Base Pay Range 98,900. USD
• California (excludes SF Bay Area) etc.:
  Base Pay Range 78,800. USD
• All other cities and states excluding those listed above:
  Base Pay Range 70,400. USD
