Pay Rate: $32–$42 per hour
Position OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Technology Resilience Program Analyst I for a short-term project assignment. This entry-level role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of Technology Resilience and Disaster Recovery programs under the guidance of senior team members. The position focuses on ensuring that critical business operations can continue or be restored quickly following disruptive events such as natural disasters, cybersecurity incidents, or system failures.
The Technology Resilience Program Analyst I will collaborate with IT teams, business units, and program leadership to assess program maturity, document processes, audit recovery procedures, and support resilience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and conduct interviews with stakeholders to assess the maturity of the Technology Resilience Program
- Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BC) plans, procedures, and documentation
- Support technology resilience program maturity and capability assessments
- Assist with risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems, processes, and dependencies
- Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity exercises, including tabletop and functional tests
- Coordinate with IT and business teams to collect, validate, and maintain recovery requirements and contact lists
- Monitor and track compliance with DR/BC policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and update DR/BC documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
- Support communication and awareness of DR/BC plans and procedures across the organization
- Assist with incident response and recovery activities during disruptive events as directed
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging risks related to technology resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Foundational knowledge of technology resilience, disaster recovery, business continuity, and risk management concepts
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Relevant certifications such as DRII Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or ISO 22301
- Exposure to incident response, IT operations, or risk analysis
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to disaster recovery and business continuity (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
- Primarily remote work environment with occasional onsite requirements in the Dallas–Fort Worth area
- May require after-hours or weekend work during disaster events or recovery exercises
- Occasional travel for training or multi-site support may be required
