AVP, PayPal Savings Technology Lead

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
• In lieu of a Bachelors degree, a High School diploma with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology
• Proven track record of managing critical projects within budget and on schedule
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment alongside Pay Pal and internal cross-functional teams
• Excellent skills in building and maintaining collaborative relationships across IT and business stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in simplifying complex topics and influencing timely execution

• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Pay Pal leaders and product/technology teams, to execute deposit product features and maintain clear communication throughout the project
• Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including technical requirements, design/architecture, build, testing, quality assurance, and production deployment
• Manage the technology relationship with Pay Pal and internal multifunctional business and tech teams
• Support project and program management for the Pay Pal Savings program, emphasizing Synchrony governance for Pay Pal-led initiatives
• Coordinate internal cross-functional efforts to keep leadership informed on program status
• Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root causes and implement solutions
• Take charge of technology L3 governance activities related to Pay Pal Savings, focusing on assessing key operational risks and the effectiveness of controls
• Act as the main technical contact for both internal and external audits, coordinating documentation requests and managing responses
• Document IT oversight governance of essential processes and controls
• Participate in issue management processes including Enterprise Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance
• Undertake other duties or special projects as required
