** About the Role
** The SAP Tester will be responsible for creating, maintaining and executing automated tests across SAP processes. This role requires hands-on testing experience, confidence with automation tools, and the ability to work independently within agile delivery teams.
*** Hybrid working*:
** The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

** Role & Responsibilities
*** Develop and execute automated regression test scripts for SAP processes using Tricentis Tosca under the guidance of senior engineers.
* Assist in producing automated field‑masking tests using Playwright, following established patterns and standards.
* Work closely with senior engineers and leads to help troubleshoot technical issues and resolve blockers.
* Support the creation and maintenance of reusable automation test‑data patterns.
* Log defects accurately in Jira and retest fixes once resolved.
* Provide status updates during daily stand‑ups and sprint ceremonies.##
** Required Skills
*** Practical experience in Tricentis Tosca (AS1 and AS2 completed or working towards completion).
* Basic understanding of SAP or other major ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
* Familiarity with Jira for defect logging and tracking.
* Experience working in or exposure to agile, sprint‑based delivery teams.
* Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with senior team members.
* Strong attention to detail with an analytical and logical approach to problem‑solving.
* Confident, proactive, and able to manage assigned tasks independently with support when needed.##
** Desirable Skills
*** Experience with Playwright + JavaScript.
* Familiarity with VSCode.
* Interest in expanding automation skills across frameworks and tools.##
** Security Check (SC) Clearance
** To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.  To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.  Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
