AboutThe Role
The Strategist is a crucial, client‑facing role that manages day‑to‑day client deliverables, develops custom client strategies, and communicates with both clients and internal stakeholders. The position focuses primarily on B2B tech and SaaS clients, requiring a deep understanding of their service lines and how it impacts the broader marketing strategy.
What You’ll Do- Strategic Excellence & Best Practices
- Develop custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve clients’ NSMs.
- Leverage clients’ overall marketing goals, current and ongoing campaigns, and historical performance to optimize and revise strategies.
- Collaborate with the Associate Director for roadblocks.
- Craft creative briefs and compelling content campaigns based on competitor and audience insights.
- Apply best practices such as LTV:
CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production.
- Goal Setting
- Use available data to set and review client goals during the engagement period.
- Manage goal approvals with the Associate Director.
- Data sources include Google Analytics, CRM, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
- Project Management
- Ensure execution of planned strategy with Asana and clear task responsibilities.
- Coordinate with team members, clients, and stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Partner with Project Managers in pods when available.
- Collaborate with content writers and designers to deliver high‑quality campaigns.
- Internal & External Communication
- Act as the main interface between clients and the team, building strong relationships.
- Proactively communicate timelines, progress, and roadblocks via Slack and scheduled meetings.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and potential strategy adjustments.
- Reporting
- Provide regular progress reports: bi‑weekly meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reviews, and bi‑annual business reviews.
- Proven track record in SEO and content strategy (keyword research, on‑page optimization, link building).
- Analytical insight with Google Analytics and other SEO metrics.
- Strong communication and client‑facing skills.
- Familiarity with industry tools:
Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog. - Excellent project, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Passion for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
- Agency experience and B2B tech/SaaS background.
- NSM attainment: 100%

- CSAT > 4.2
- Upsells / Cross‑sells / Referrals – proactively seek growth opportunities for clients.
- Maintain high CSAT scores and strong referral relationships.
