Job DutiesThe University of San Diego seeks a Programmer Analyst to build data models, reports, dashboards, and analytics using Cognos, Salesforce, and Workday.
Responsibilities include:
- Modify seeded application reports with Oracle Developer Suite 10g/11g.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems and performance issues using SQL trace and database explain.
- Analyze user requirements and work with business users to design solutions across Ellucian, Workday, Oracle, Salesforce, BDMS, Portal, ODS/EDW, Cognos, Workflow.
- Support application upgrades by testing changes and recommending process improvements.
- Manage production issues: identify, analyze root causes, design solutions, develop test strategies, and implement production changes.
- Supervise junior analysts/programmers as assigned.
- Stay current with technology trends and evaluate relevant software products.
Telecommuting is permitted 5 days per week from anywhere in the U.S.
Salary: $124,280 – $142,204 per year.
Job RequirementsMaster’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration and either:
- One year (or a Bachelor’s degree and five years) of experience as a software developer.
- One year of experience in each of the following areas:
Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica, or SSIS.
Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or Snowflake.
