SEO​/GEO Coordinator

Pay:$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Sperling is seeking an SEO/GEO Coordinator to improve and protect client visibility and trust across Google Business Profile (GBP), AI engines, directories, review sites, and community platforms (Reddit, Quora, forums). You’ll keep business information accurate, monitor and respond appropriately where audiences ask questions, and support foundational SEO + AI Search (AIO/GEO) execution.

Key Responsibilities
Digital presence + Listings (Local/SEO)

• Manage
  Google Business Profile and directory listings
• Identify and fix inaccuracies across third-party platforms
• Support basic
  SEO/AIO/GEO
  tasks including content updates, entity/fact consistency, simple on-page checks, FAQs informed by real questions people ask.

• Monitor and participate (when appropriate) in
  Reddit/Quora/forums
  to surface audience questions, sentiment, and misinformation.
• Draft and support responses for
  reviews, comments, and community threads
  in a brand-safe, platform-appropriate tone.
• Run recurring
  trend scans
  and share insights with SEO/Social strategists.

• Assist with monthly reporting: pull data, basic QA, and annotate notable changes.

• Experience in digital marketing, SEO support, social media support, community management, or local marketing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
• Strong writing instincts (clear, concise, professional) with the judgment to adapt tone by platform.
• Organized, process-driven, and comfortable managing repeatable tasks across multiple clients.
• Familiarity with the basics of SEO, AI Search, Social, and local search.
• Comfort working with analytics data at a basic level.

• Experience with listing tools (e.g., Yext, Bright Local, Moz Local) or reputation platforms.
• Familiarity with GA4, Looker Studio, or simple rank/local visibility reporting.
• Understanding of how AI-powered answers pull from third-party sources.
