BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM
-Tester to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and possibly 3 days remote.
The SAP BRIM
-Tester supports quality assurance activities for SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and related SAP S/4
HANA components, including Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Charging (CC), and Fiori applications. The role plans and executes test cases across functional, integration, regression, data migration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) phases. Working with SMEs, functional consultants, and developers, the Tester records defects, validates fixes, and ensures documentation and evidence meet audit requirements and compliance standards (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2).
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases for SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and related Fiori apps.
- Perform end-to-end testing of integrations (CRM, payment gateways, mediation/usage capture, SAP ERP) including API and batch interfaces.
- Validate high-volume, consumption-based billing scenarios; verify rating, invoicing, taxation, and dispute workflows.
- Support data migration and cutover by preparing test data, executing delta load validation, and reconciling results.
- Log defects with detailed reproduction steps and evidence; track through resolution in Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or JIRA.
- Execute SIT and assist UAT; capture test results, attach screenshots/logs, and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Verify security controls and compliance (PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2) such as role-based access, encryption/tokenization, and secure payment flows.
- Collaborate with SMEs and consultants to align tests with SAP standard functionality and minimize customization.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, defect triage, and release readiness reviews; report coverage and pass/fail metrics.
- Contribute to knowledge articles, test runbooks, and support materials in Service Now or equivalent repositories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of software testing experience in enterprise environments; exposure to ERP or SAP solutions.
- Familiarity with SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC) and S/4
HANA processes; ability to execute tests in Fiori and SAP GUI. - Hands‑on experience with test case management in Azure Dev Ops or JIRA; basic SQL or Excel skills for data validation.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail; ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Experience testing payment gateway integrations, tokenization, and secure payment flow designs (PCI DSS).
- Exposure to mediation/usage capture and rating systems; familiarity with SAP BTP and event‑driven integrations.
- Participation in at least one SAP BRIM or S/4
HANA implementation; understanding of hybrid Agile delivery. - Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools; ability to support non‑functional test activities.
- ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
