Job Description

We are seeking an Integration Architect passionate about Event-Driven Architecture to lead initiatives that contribute to group-wide EDA strategy and enhance the capabilities of the EBS platform.

The ideal candidate will provide architectural expertise, technical leadership, and strategic guidance to EBS customers, enabling them to design and implement robust event-driven solutions.

As an Integration Architect
, you will contribute to the evolution of the EBS platform by integrating cutting edge technologies, driving alignment with organizational goals, and promoting best practices.

Your work will have a lasting impact on the scalability, resilience, and adoption of EDA across the company.

The ideal candidate will draw upon exemplary analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.

A proven record of making institutional contributions in integration architecture practices and delivering lasting user experiences is necessary.

Key Responsibilities
EDA Strategy and Enablement:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine Event-Driven Architecture strategy.
  • Provide technical guidance to entities in adopting EDA patterns, ensuring alignment with group standards and principles.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them design event-driven solutions using Kafka, Confluent Cloud, and related technologies.
Platform Evolution and Innovation:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the EBS platform by integrating new technologies, tools, and features.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to enhance platform scalability, reliability, and usability.
  • Drive the adoption of managed services such as Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, Flink, and other components of the Confluent ecosystem.
Architecture and Design:
  • Develop and document architecture patterns, standards, and best practices for event‑driven solutions.
  • Lead architectural reviews for EBS customer projects to ensure high‑quality design and alignment with EDA principles.
  • Design reusable components and patterns to accelerate adoption and minimize redundant efforts across projects.
Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Partner with product teams, platform administrators, and developers to deliver impactful solutions. Provide mentorship and technical leadership, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Lead workshops, training, and knowledge‑sharing sessions to promote EDA awareness and capabilities across the company.
Qualifications Technical Expertise:
  • 5+ years of hands‑on experience with event‑driven architectures, including Kafka and the Confluent ecosystem (Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, KSQLDB, etc.).ç
  • Deep understanding of Microservices and Event‑Driven Architecture patterns.
  • Strong experience with API design, API management, and integration technologies.
  • Familiarity with managed cloud services, particularly Azure and AWS.
Leadership and

Collaboration:

  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in international, multi‑disciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Education and Certification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Advanced certifications in Conuent Kafka or cloud platforms are a plus.
