Position

Ardent is seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to join our team.

This is a remote position, with occasional on-site work in Ashburn, VA as required by CBP
.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide solution architectural support for daily tasks, business needs, platform strategy, development teams, and application teams supporting CBP’s Salesforce environment.
  • Provide guidance for the maturation of Salesforce and guide new application teams on best practices for development and configuration.
  • Review Technical Design Documents (TDDs) and provide technical direction prior to deployment to ensure successful releases.
  • Support release management activities, including design, source control, packaging, and deployment of Salesforce applications across multiple environments.
  • Design and maintain efficient and scalable data models within Salesforce.
  • Apply and govern the Salesforce security model, including data access controls and permissions.
  • Design and support integration patterns and middleware to connect Salesforce with other CBP systems.
  • Support cross-functional teams working within CBP’s Salesforce Government Cloud environment.
  • Provide technical guidance to application teams and Operations & Maintenance teams during design, release, and deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot Salesforce issues and bugs at the enterprise level within the CBP ecosystem.
  • Train and support newly assigned development team members working on Salesforce programs.
Requirements
  • Active CBP BI clearance is required.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security model, including data access controls and permissions.
  • Experience with full lifecycle Agile program management in Salesforce.
  • Experience delivering solutions to production and/or migrating legacy applications to new modern platforms including Salesforce.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Ability to design efficient and scalable data models within Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in integration patterns and middleware to connect Salesforce with other systems.
  • Experience effectively communicating with senior levels of a customer organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and design effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with release management, source control, and deployment technologies for efficient software delivery.
  • A Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification from a recognized credentialing agency is preferred.
