Manager Customer Insights & Data Analytics (remote)
The core products manager leads the Supply Chain Core Products team, responsible for building and operating scalable analytics products that drive operational efficiency and data‑informed decision making across Ryder's supply chain and logistics operations. The role focuses on developing persistent analytics solutions—such as AI‑powered labor management systems, predictive forecasting tools, and self‑service Power BI dashboards—leveraging data engineering, AI/ML, and visualization technologies to deliver measurable business impact, including time savings, error reduction, and improved resource utilization.
This leader collaborates closely with Supply Chain Product and Analytics teams and adjacent Platform teams to translate business needs into production‑ready features. Key responsibilities include owning the technical roadmap for core products, integrating validated prototypes into scalable builds, managing escalated technical issues, and ensuring high‑quality, maintainable solutions aligned with Ryder's enterprise standards. The manager mentors a cross‑functional team of data analysts, AI/data specialists, and UX resources, fostering a product ownership culture and driving continuous improvement through feedback loops, adoption metrics, and innovation.
Success is measured by product reliability, user adoption rates, reduction in manual processes, and contributions to Ryder's digital transformation and operational excellence goals.
- Lead the acquisition of data on the usage of technical products across the organization, assess data quality and sustainability, and conduct detailed analytics to support sales and expansion of Ryder’s products. Elevate analytics beyond reporting to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Identify process gaps, recommend and implement improvements independently.
- Lead innovation in analytical products and in curating new data sources, supporting initiatives to improve data quality, integrity and accessibility for the marketing organization.
- Engage leadership and internal stakeholders early to promote focused project design, greater operating efficiency, and higher‑impact insights.
- Provide analytics and customer/experience insights down to the branch and unit level.

BI, R, Databricks). - Good understanding of B2B marketing concepts, practices, and challenges.
- Ability to generate conclusions and recommendations to senior management based on data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, statistics, or computer science.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) and/or other master’s degree (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience as a big‑data data analyst in a Fortune 500 company or management consulting.
- 8+ years of experience with Excel, SQL, R, SAS or other statistical packages.
- 1+ year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry (preferred).
- Advanced customer experience insights methods, analytics, tools, and practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, SAS or other statistical packages.
