Junior Data Analysis Technical Contributor
Leidos Health & Services Sector seeks a Junior Data Analysis Technical Contributor to support the DoD personnel testing and assessment mission. The role provides early‑career analytic support in data processing, statistical procedures, and modeling tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare datasets and support basic statistical analyses under senior supervision.
- Generate preliminary tables, graphs, and summaries.
- Assist with scoring verification and data quality reviews.
- Support analytic documentation and reproducibility workflows.
- Contribute to development and debugging of analytic code or data tools.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, data science, or computer science plus two years of related work experience OR master’s degree in one of those fields.

- Ability to run descriptive statistics, generate tables/figures, and perform preliminary analytic checks under supervision.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to support multiple concurrent tasks.
- Willingness to learn new analytic methods, tools, and software as needed.
- Security Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete FBI fingerprint check and NACI check. US Citizenship required.
- Location: Eligible for 75% remote work with occasional on‑site work. Candidate must be located or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Seaside, CA.
- Experience working with or within the DoD.
- Familiarity with DTAC and its mission and objectives.
- Familiarity with DoD or federal personnel testing, recruiting, or classification processes.
- Knowledge of military accession, recruiting, and classification processes.
- Experience supporting statistical analysis, modeling, or quantitative research in an academic, internship, or workplace setting.
- Familiarity with psychometric concepts or test scoring methods.
- Experience producing analytic tables, charts, or visualizations as part of research or coursework.
- Exposure to quality assurance processes for data or statistical outputs.
- Experience contributing to reports, documentation, or presentations in a technical environment.
- Familiarity with version control tools or reproducible analytics workflows.
- Experience working collaboratively in multi‑disciplinary teams or project environments.

Pay and BenefitsPay range $69,550 – $125,725. Compensation is a general guideline and not a guarantee. Additional factors considered include responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable law.
