This healthtech startup is transforming pathology with a next-generation lab operations platform. After three years of R&D, they have developed a cloud-based solution that combines traditional LIS functionality with AI-powered quality control and digital pathology tools. Serving both independent labs and major hospital systems, the company operates with a lean, expert team including PhD scientists and engineers.

The company is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive lead generation and expand their market presence. In this 100% remote role, you will act as the engine for new business, focusing on identifying and qualifying leads within the pathology and laboratory sectors. You must have specific experience in the healthtech or diagnostics industry to effectively engage lab managers and clinicians regarding complex software solutions.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in software sales development or lead generation within healthtech, LIS, or pathology markets.
  • Familiarity with laboratory workflows, medical software terminology, or digital pathology tools.
  • Strong communication skills for cold outreach via email, phone, and social channels.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined enough to thrive in a fully remote startup environment.
Responsibilities
    >

    Execute targeted outbound campaigns to generate new leads among independent pathology labs and hospital systems.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects to ensure they are a good fit for the platform’s AI and LIS capabilities.
  • Identify key decision-makers (lab managers, pathologists) and articulate the value of modernizing their lab operations.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and seamlessly hand off qualified opportunities to the closing team.

This is a 100% remote position offering a competitive base salary between $50,000 and $70,000 (depending on experience) plus performance-based incentives. You will be joining a collaborative, mission-driven team at a pivotal stage of growth, with the opportunity to directly impact the commercial success of a cutting-edge medical platform.
