Res Net is a residential technology package that includes an array of services for resident students. Res Net provides specialized technical support as well as cutting‑edge services in your residence hall room. Our services include a high‑speed, secure wireless network that covers the entire campus, multiple wireless networks designed to meet the academic demands of our resident students, Xfinity Live TV streaming, Xfinity on‑demand, movie streaming, printing and more.
Summary
The BSU Staff Assistant, Res Net Support Supervisor, provides administrative, operational, and basic technical support for the Res Net Program. Working in close collaboration with the Res Net Director, this position contributes to the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of Res Net services for students living in the residence halls. Duties include managing and mentoring Res Net student employees, providing customer service and basic technical support, coordinating with campus partners, overseeing documentation, and developing outreach and training initiatives.
All Res Net job duties must be performed in accordance with the Res Net Trust Fund Guidelines. This is a full‑time, 12‑month APA position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement. This position is located on campus in Bridgewater, MA. Standard
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 9AM‑5PM (This position may be eligible for hybrid / remote work in accordance with BSU remote work policy).
