L2 Technical Support Engineer

• Provide advanced technical support for Symantec and Broadcom Endpoint Security products via phone, email, and virtual tools
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to restore and maintain secure system operations
• Manage incidents, problems, and changes according to ITIL‑aligned ticket management procedures
• Collaborate with engineering, product, sales, and account teams to resolve escalations and improve supportability
• Mentor and coach L1 engineers on troubleshooting methods and process adherence

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience supporting Symantec/Broadcom or equivalent technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent experience
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred
• Broadcom / Symantec certifications strongly preferred
• Experience troubleshooting endpoint management platforms and operating systems

• Additional certifications such as Security+ / CISSP and CCNA / CCNP
• Familiarity with endpoint protection, EDR, and XDR concepts
• Proficiency in packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, proxy, firewall)
• Experience in malware analysis and threat detection workflows
