The John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) is seeking a Land,
Product Manager in Urbandale, IA or remotely to lead the evolution of our Land Platform, a foundational capability within the John Deere Operations Center and G5 Display ecosystem. This platform powers the digital representation of land to create a true digital twin for any farm, job site, or property. This role is critical to enabling customer-facing experiences across Large Ag, Small Ag, Golf, Turf, Construction, and Road building, while serving as the backbone for advanced solutions like Auto Trac™, Auto Path™, and Autonomy.

We are looking for a strategic thinker who understands customer-enabling platform capabilities and has a keen eye for user experience to ensure our solutions are intuitive, scalable, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Define and evolve the Land vision to support digital twin capabilities for diverse operations, ensuring scalability across multiple industries
• Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows and how land-based data drives productivity, precision, and operational efficiency
• Translate customer insights into clear product requirements, prioritizing features that enhance usability and deliver exceptional experiences
• Lead product development initiatives end-to-end—from ideation through design, testing, and commercialization—collaborating closely with UX, engineering, and data teams
• Balance global scalability with local adaptability, ensuring platform capabilities meet regional needs while aligning with enterprise strategy
• Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, customer success, and other product lines) to drive adoption and utilization of land-based solutions
• Apply domain expertise and business judgment to align product vision with performance, complexity, and speed to market
• Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and successful delivery of platform capabilities

• 3+ years of direct experience as a product manager in a technology company
• Passion for creating impactful products that empower users and accelerate other products and team within the company
• Proven track record to influence, collaborate, and engage with others from a diverse set of backgrounds ranging from engineers to computer vision researchers, to agronomists, to field technicians, to growers
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical product information in a clear, concise and creative manner
• Delivery focus and a proven understanding of the software development challenges faced by cross-functional engineering teams
• Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with an ability to resolve ambiguity and traverse between high level strategy and low-level details
• Growth mindset with ability to quickly learn and apply experience to new technologies, domains and problems

• Proven experience integrating hardware, software, and AI/ML solutions to deliver innovative, data-driven products and systems
