Overview
Team/Future:
The end‑user support is comprised of 30 technicians across 3 different managers supporting all the major hospitals. This technician will work alongside 15 other onsite employees. The current need for this PC technician is to help alleviate pressure as we are upgrading 15,000 endpoints. They will also play a role in the future upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
There are over 1,100 devices that failed encryption. The project will be broken up into four orders and waves of support. There may be driving to various clinics and hospitals. This member will ride in an official van with other team members to conduct deployments, while employees work from home daily.
DutiesThis technician will take tickets via Service Now and troubleshoot a variety of issues, including network connectivity, blue screen of death, missing applications, printer problems, imaging devices, e‑recycling equipment, monitor installation, Zebra printer issues, building machines, and more.
They will also follow a standardized imaging process using SCCM to update and fully build devices. Experience with migrating from Windows 7 to 10 is a nice to have. The technician will upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and, eventually, transition to virtual desktops in 2026.

Job Type & LocationContract to Hire position based in Washington, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 – $19.23 per hour.
