Position Summary:
The Manager of Digital Marketing is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing IIBEC’s digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, member engagement, event participation, education enrollment, and overall organizational growth. This role manages IIBEC’s digital channels, campaigns, analytics, and marketing technologies, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable results align with IIBEC’s mission and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies that support membership growth, event attendance, certification programs, publications, and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel digital campaigns (email, web, social media, paid media, SEO/SEM) with clear goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align digital marketing efforts with organizational priorities and timelines.
Website & Content Management
  • Manage IIBEC’s website strategy, user experience, and content optimization to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and engagement.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to translate technical information into clear, compelling digital content.
  • Manage content calendars for digital platforms, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
Email Marketing & Marketing Automation
  • Lead email marketing strategy, including segmentation, automation, A/B testing, and performance optimization.
  • Manage marketing automation platforms and CRM integrations to support personalized, data-driven communications.
Social Media & Online Presence
  • Develop and manage IIBEC’s social media strategy across relevant platforms to build community, promote thought leadership, and increase engagement.
  • Monitor online conversations and respond appropriately in coordination with IIBEC policies and brand guidelines.
Vendor & Budget Management
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and technology providers.
  • Assist in developing and managing the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Brand Stewardship & Governance
  • Ensure all digital marketing activities align with IIBEC brand standards, voice, and values.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to professional associations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, preferably within a professional association, nonprofit, or technical organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using digital marketing and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with associations, membership organizations or credentialing bodies.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM systems, and association management software.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM, paid digital advertising, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience translating technical or scientific content for diverse audiences.
Working Conditions
  • Hybrid or remote work environment, subject to IIBEC policy.
  • Occasional travel for conferences, events, or meetings may be required.
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to attend meetings and events, both virtual and in person.
