Technical Consultant I, Maximo

We are seeking a Junior Maximo Consultant with 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in IBM Maximo to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) across various industries, focusing on improving equipment reliability and work efficiency.

• Support Maximo implementation projects under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Configure and customize IBM Maximo to meet client‑specific requirements.
• Document Technical Designs and Requirements and user guides as needed.
• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment phases.
• Apply standardized software development lifecycle methodologies to project tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Gain exposure to industry best practices in EAM and Maximo implementations.
• Receive mentorship from experienced consultants and participate in structured training.
• Develop skills in technical troubleshooting, data migration, and integration techniques.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized higher educational institution, in the field of Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in IBM Maximo.
• Experience in Java, JavaScript, SQL, or other programming languages.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint).

• Understanding of Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).
• Maximo Certification – Maximo Asset Management v7.1 or higher.
• Intermediate or better with Structured Query Language (SQL) for Databases.
• Understanding of UML for Data Modeling and Process Modeling.
• Experience using the IBM Maximo Asset Management or related applications is a plus.

• This is a full‑time role expected to work 40 hours per week, hybrid or home‑based in Canada.
• Required sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements). The role requires communication with managers, peers, and other colleagues of the company in person (on occasion), and by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling, and meeting functions.
• This position will require travel up to 50% per year.
