Public Cloud - Senior Platform Engineer - SVP

O&T operates as a technology company focused on implementing scalable and innovative next gen technology solutions that will shape the future of global banking.

The Public Cloud Engineer will implement cloud architecture (on AWS, GCP and Azure) that enables the infrastructure (compute, database, network, storage, observability) required for application hosting in public cloud using Citi’s engineering processes and best practices, with particular emphasis on automation and security by design.

• Developer experience across multiple languages –수 Java, Python etc.
• Cloud platforms, more than once cloud AWS, GCP or Azure,
• Has built CICD / SDLC pipelines for example Terraform and Harness
• Performed as tech lead within a specialist domain eg. tech lead for container or data platforms

• Networking, transit gateways, proxy, NSG, SG, Load Balancers, VPCs
• Cloud security (wiz, sentinel)
• Compute in cloud Amazons EKS, Faregate, Lambda, Google GKE, AKS, Argo CD, Storage S3, EFS, EBS or GCS, blob
• Data services:
  Cloud Dat mire, Machine learning, analytics
• Messaging Pub/Sub services such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ
• Cache / search technologies such as Elasticache / Elastic search
• API services such as apigee / kong
• Elementary, Observability and monitoring
• Identity and access management, dynamic keys and certificates
• Test driven development
• Cloud real world experience on expert level, anywhere, not just a bank

• Can lead technology decisions and align team outcomes
• Enjoys mentoring and middleware with remote teams
• Outcome orientated, can self organize and help team members break down work
• Leads by example
• Proactive, grabs tickets and asks for help when needed
• Team orientated, ready to jump in and help
• Agile, can context switch is prepared to pivot when needed
• Likes to solve problems, questions the why to understand the what.
• Enjoys learning, interested in growing their technology skills
