• Oversee the tools used to orchestrate background jobs at the employer
• Support critical user journeys such as trading and fund transactions
• Run Temporal and the internal background jobs service across the employer
• Investigate and solve infrastructure problems at Coinbase scale
• Develop reliable, scalable, and fault‑tolerant background processing jobs

• At least 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with job processing frameworks
• Proven ability to write high-quality, well-tested code
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to performance metrics
• Experience in collaborating with cross‑functional teams

• Familiarity with crypto technologies, including Ethereum and dApps
• Experience working with Temporal and Cadence frameworks
• Previous involvement in onchain activities and blockchain‑based services
