Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Principal SAP MDG Enterprise Applications Consultant. As Principal Enterprise Applications Consultant, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design.

You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology
• The location for this position is Richardson, TX. The Position may require travel and/or relocation.

• At least 11 years of experience in SAP MDG implementation and Support programs
• Experience across Electricity (preferred), or Gas or Water Utilities industries, North America
• Should be well versed in performing MDG Configurations and Customizations in areas like Data Modeling, UI Modeling, Process Modeling, Data Replication Framework, Key Mapping, rules, and derivations, BRF+
• Should have technical knowledge and hands on experience on customization for MDG workflows, Floor Plan Manager, WDABAP, BRF+;
  Hands on development in BADI ABAP will be preferred.
• Knowledge on WDABAP framework‑based customizations, OOPs programming in SAP MDG, FPM and UI customizations
• Work with the technical teams to complete the SAP MDG implementation for Material, Customer, Supplier and FI objects.
• Experience of at least 1 end to end lifecycle implementation activities including:
  • Requirement gathering
  • Business process design
  • SAP configuration
  • RICEFW Functional design
  • Systems and Integration Testing
  • Resolving production issues
• Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skills
• Strong analytical skills with ability to work in advanced excel based data analysis
• Ability to work with offshore teams and coordinating work delivery between onsite and offshore
• Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment including offshore overlaps twice a day

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face.
