Evergreen Workers’ Compensation Transformation Program (Flagship Initiative)

Responsibilities- Partner daily with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Scrum Masters, and the RTE to lead detailed architectural design and example implementations for a set of product domains in Evergreen. Prepare the execution team with shovel‑ready work while ensuring scalable, secure, and well‑architected solutions, as well as alignment with North Star Architecture; solve cross‑track technical dependencies, remove impediments, and hit program milestones.
- Mentor software engineers and guide detailed implementation decisions to ensure adherence to the Evergreen technical standards.
- Raise the bar for engineering excellence, build an open, continuous learning, and continuous improvement engineering culture.
- Act as an advocate and pioneer to operationalize AI in a large‑scale program.
- Establish and maintain program‑wide architecture and engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Serve as a thought leader within the engineering discipline, influencing cross‑program technical decisions and television of architectural excellence across the organization.

- Support business‑technology roadmaps by effectively communicating technical risks and considerations to diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering and architectural principles, with a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience.
- Strong hands‑on design and development experience with Evergreen tech stack and emerging technologies, with preference for experience across legacy, current, and new technologies.

- In-depth understanding of business operations, objectives, global technology trends, and the financial services industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, and consensus‑building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and present complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in the insurance domain, Workers Compensation, or claims.
- Design of end‑to‑end solutions as an architect; proven Tech Lead for agile teams and ability to work through others.
