Manager Customer Insights & Data Analytics (remote)
Apply for the Manager Customer Insights & Data Analytics (remote) role at Ryder System, Inc. This remote position leads Ryder’s Supply Chain Core Products team, building scalable internal analytics products that drive operational efficiency and data‑informed decision‑making across the supply chain and logistics operations.
Responsibilities- Own the technical roadmap for core products, integrating validated prototypes into scalable builds.
- Lead the effort to acquire data on technical product usage, assessing quality and sustainability, and deliver actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
- Identify process gaps, recommend and implement process improvements.
- Innovate analytical products and curate new data sources, improving data quality, integrity, and accessibility for the marketing organization.
- Engage leadership and internal stakeholders early to promote focused project design and higher impact insights.
- Provide analytics and customer experience insights down to branch and unit levels.
- Mentor a cross‑functional team of data analysts, AI/data specialists, and UX resources, fostering a product ownership culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, statistics, or computer science (required).
- Master’s degree in business administration or other master’s degree (preferred).
- Eight years or more of experience in big‑data analysis in a Fortune 500 company or management consulting (required).
- Eight years or more of experience with Excel, SQL, R, SAS, or other statistical packages (required).
- Experience in transportation/logistics industry a plus (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of customer experience insights methods, analytics, tools, and practices (required).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, R, SAS, or other statistical packages (required).
- Detailed orientation, strong sense of urgency, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, decision quality, and effective written and verbal communication skills (required).
- Strong technical aptitude, ability to join multiple tables, summarize, group, and perform analytical functions in SQL (required).
- Familiarity with Python, Power BI, R, Data Bricks, etc. (required).
Salaried: $120,000 – $150,000 annually. Position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and/or type.
