Configuration Analyst

SAIC is currently seeking a Service Now Configuration Management (CMDB) Manager to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program. The USACE RITS contract will provide modern and secure enterprise-wide IT support services to approximately 37,000 USACE customers located throughout gleast US and overseas. Services will support the mission needs of USACE’s Headquarters (HQs) located in Washington, D.C., nine Divisions and 43 Districts, to include over 1,600 field and area project offices and two data centers that are currently located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and Hillsboro, Oregon.
This is a 100% virtual / work from home / remote position.

• Provide management and oversight of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and strive to provide value to the customer.
• Establish and/or maintain CMDB policy documentation such as configuration management plan, data dictionary and definitions, and contribute to contact deliverables.
• Assist in Service Now discovery troubleshooting as well as maintaining CMDB data sources.
• Contribute to the overall success of core managed IT asset and Configuration Items and their mandated managed attributes. Monitor and audit CI data health reports and dashboards. Facilitate interactions with the CI Service Owners and collaborate with applicable teams and other system owners/managers to remediate discrepancies identified in the CMDB.
• Utilize all viable available configuration management tools/applications to support configuration identification, accuracy, control, reporting, auditing, remediation, and delivery of assets and configuration items in the Service Now CMDB.
