The Division of Technology Services is seeking a skilled and driven developer to join the Google Workspace team to revolutionize how our organization uses technology for collaboration and productivity. We are searching for a candidate who possesses a strong blend of technical skills, domain knowledge, and soft skills. This individual will have a proven track record of effectively leveraging Google Workspace capabilities to create solutions that address business needs and enhance productivity.

This includes experience with Google APIs and Apps Script to automate workflows, optimize business processes, and improve collaboration. The ideal candidate will have successfully delivered solutions that streamline operations, such as automating data entry or creating custom dashboards. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with stakeholders and gathering requirements.

This position may be available for partial remote work with at least 2 days in the office. The office is located at Taylorsville State Office Building 4315 S 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah. All remote work must be performed within Utah.

• Utilizing SDKs for different platforms (Java, Python, Node.js, etc.) to streamline development and access pre-built functionalities.
• Interact with APIs like Gmail API, Drive API, Calendar API, and others to access and manipulate data within Google Workspace.
• Create and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient and accurate retrieval of data from Big Query.
• Create dashboards and reports using Big Query data and Looker to provide insights to stakeholders.
• Automation of provisioning and deprovisioning user accounts, managing user access and permissions, organizing users, configuring applications, managing third-party applications, troubleshooting issues, supporting users, continuously learning.
• Configuring security policies, managing security settings, ensuring compliance, monitoring and auditing, configuring data retention policies.

• In-depth understanding of Google Workspace applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, Python, and Go.
• Experience with Google App Scripts.
• Deep understanding of Google Workspace APIs and SDKs.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Ability to analyze and understand business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud and data structures.
• Experience with Chrome browser management and Chrome
  
  OS.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles.
