Lightspeed Golf is seeking a Product Designer II (Intermediate) to drive the evolution of our Golf Analytics and Onboarding experiences. This role will be in a position to drive real impact, owning the end-to-end design process and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to redefine how courses leverage data to optimize operations and how quickly and successfully new customers adopt the Lightspeed platform.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of transforming complex workflows into simple, clear customer journeys with user-friendly interfaces that seamlessly integrate with other workflows. You excel at identifying opportunities to deliver value and thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to create exceptional customer experiences.
What youâll be doing:
Problem Solving: Own and lead full design cycles for features or a product area, comfortable reaching out for guidance when needed. Participate in design reviews and working sessions, helping the team develop effective and thoughtful solutions. Translate requirements and ideas into clear, usable product features. Contribute in design reviews and help refine solutions with the team. Proactively explores and integrates AI and emerging technologies to shape your approach.Embedding Systems Thinking: Have UX expertise and understanding of design systems, UI design, and how micro-interactions can help users complete a task. Design holistic systems, flows and interfaces that are simple, elegant, and user-friendly. Understanding of how to use design systems to best ensure consistency across platforms and contribute to its improvementDriving User-Centricity: Use research and data insights to inform design decisions. Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to align on user needs, ensuring designs balance usability with business goals.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners and contribute positively to team culture. Be open to feedback and eager to learn from peers and senior designers.What you need to bring:
At least 4 years of practical, in-house product, UX/UI design experience.Clear communication skills. You can explain design decisions and collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders.Solid visual design skills and attention to detail, with a drive to continuously refine craftA curiosity to learn and adopt new tools, including how AI can enhance the user experience and improve your design process.Applied experience working across all digital and physical manifestations of what we design - from the responsive web to native applications to the next technological leap.An acute level of self-awareness and deep empathy - for both the customer and your teamâs goals.An understanding and ability to consider product strategy and vision. You donât just care about âhow it looks,â or âwhat we should design,â but âwhy are we designing this at all?âAn arsenal of design tools such as Figma, Google Suite, JIRA, and other prototyping tools.We know that people are more than whatâs on their CV.
