Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills, industry-recognized networking certifications, and the flexibility to work in both onsite and remote environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructures

• Configure, manage, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions

• Monitor network performance to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability

• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root cause analysis

• Implement network security best practices and ensure compliance with standards

• Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to support cloud, data and enterprise networks

• Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs

• Provide technical support during network deployments, upgrades, and migrations

Required

Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Network Engineering or Network Administration

• Strong knowledge of Routing & Switching (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP)

• Experience with
  firewalls, VPNs, and network security concepts

• Hands-on exposure to Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking technologies

• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Certifications (Mandatory / Strong Preference)

• CCIE or CCNP (or equivalent industry-recognized network certifications)

Nice to Have

• Experience with
  Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Exposure to SD-WAN, Network Automation, or Monitoring Tools

• Experience working with geographically distributed or global teams

Work Mode

• Onsite: Africa-based locations

• Remote: Available for eligible candidates based on project requirements

Requirements
