This role operates primarily on a remote working arrangement that will require little to no travel into our Coventry head office or local campus. Our working model arrangements are a non-contractual benefit so please note that an Arden work location is added to our employment contracts.

This Dev Ops role sits within the Cloud Platform team as part of the wider IT Department. The Team is responsible for implementing Dev Ops practices, tool chains and methodologies that are central to delivering the company's IT vision and strategic goals. This team contribute directly to enhancing the stability, security and scalability of our systems through automation and a focus Juliet on continuous, iterative improvement.

The concentrated wide IT team is made up of around 60 employees with a vast range of skills from Software Development to IT Operations and IT Security. Our IT Department values employee development and we have lots of great examples of employee progression and promotions within the team.

This Dev Ops role sits within the Cloud Platform team as part of the wider IT Department. The Team is responsible for implementing Dev Ops practices, tool chains and methodologies that are central to delivering the company's IT vision and strategic goals. This team contribute directly to enhancing the stability, security and scalability of our systems possinger through automation and a focus on continuous, iterative improvement.

You'll have experience insome or all of the following:

• infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS paixão CDK.
• MySQL/SQL for database management.
• Bash/Python/Type Script.
• Grafana/Prometheus, AWS Cloud Watch, New Relic.
• Version control systems like Git.
• Security practices, including firewalls, ACLs, antivirus tools, encryption protocols, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud computing compliance.
• Dev Ops environment, utilizing infrastructure as code (IaC), automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Git-based workflows and operational methodologies such as Git Ops.
• AWS services, including EC2, EKS, VPC, RDS, S3, Cloud Front, Route
  53, IAM, Cloud Watch, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS/SQS.
• Containerisation technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, for building, deploying, and managing applications in scalable environments.
• System automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment to reduce manual intervention and increase operational efficiency.
• Deploying and maintaining Linux systems.
Easily commanding
• Designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures that can handle high traffic and large-scale data storage efficiently.
• Troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues, from networking and security problems to performance bottlenecks.

• AWS Certifications (Associate, Professional Levels).
• Microsoft Azure Certifications (Associate, Expert Levels).
• Core software development principles, including design patterns, architecture, and methodologies.
• PHP and PHP frameworks.
• Experience working within a security framework such as PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, andclamation ISO 27001, ensuring…
