Job PurposeThe Vice President of Identity and Access Management (VP, IAM) is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide IAM strategy, governance, and execution to safeguard digital identities, systems, and data assets across the organization. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of IAM solutions that enable secure, seamless access for employees, partners, and customers in a fast‑paced IT distribution environment. The VP, IAM collaborates closely with business leaders, cybersecurity teams, and technology partners to ensure compliance, operational efficiency, and resilience against emerging threats.
Responsibilities- Develop and drive the company's IAM vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and management of IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management and privileged access.
- Establish and enforce IAM governance frameworks, policies, and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, GDPR).
- Evaluate and integrate IAM technologies (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, SailPoint, Cyber Ark, Ping Identity).
- Ensure proper role-based access controls (RBAC) and least privilege principles across enterprise systems.
- Lead IAM operations, including provisioning, access reviews, and incident response for identity-related events.
- Build and mentor a high-performing IAM team, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate IAM into enterprise workflows and partner ecosystems.
- Define and track IAM performance metrics, reporting on identity security posture and compliance.
- Stay abreast of IAM advancements, Zero Trust, and AI‑driven identity solutions for future improvements.
- 15+ years of relevant work experience.
- 10‑15 years of experience directly managing or supervising employees.
- Master's or postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity.
- Recent experience working for large, complex global organizations (10,000+ employees).
- Expertise in engineering solutions for corporate and customer environments and requirements.
- Experience managing a follow‑the‑sun model organization.
- Deep understanding and implementation of the Zero Trust model regarding IAM.
- Experience evaluating and optimizing tools and technology stacks, and negotiating contracts.
- Strategic planning, multi‑year roadmap, and financial management for all aspects of the IAM budget.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English and local/regional languages.
- Ability to create and conduct formal presentations.
- Ability to negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively.
- Strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work under pressure.
- Practice social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
- Frequent travel required (25%).
- Global travel required.

- May be required to work in shifts (timing subject to business needs).
- Total target cash range is $231,700 – $305,012.
- Position also has a Management Incentive Plan and Stock Incentive program, pending board approvals.
