Technical Program Manager

KPI is seeking a Technical Project Manager to deliver deep media insights through advanced analytics for our client, one of the largest retailers and e-commerce companies in the U.S.

Work Location: Remote in the U.S.

Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension and conversion, depending on budget and performance

Pay range: $50+/hr

• Lead large-scale, cross-functional software development programs from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define program scope, architecture, and milestones.
• Drive execution across multiple Agile teams, managing dependencies, risks, and trade-offs with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Serve as the technical liaison between engineering and business stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
• Champion best practices in software development, Dev Ops, and program governance to ensure operational excellence.
• Track and communicate program health, status, and risks to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability across teams.
• Mentor junior TPMs and contribute to the evolution of program management practices within the organization.

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management, with a strong track record of delivering complex software systems at scale.
• Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area, and 5 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area (Master’s preferred).
• Hands‑on experience or deep understanding of system architecture, APIs, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and modern development practices.
• Proven ability to lead Agile programs involving multiple teams, geographies, and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience presenting to VP and C‑level audiences.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and program dashboards for tracking and reporting.
• Excellent writing and making stategies skills are highly required.
• Excellent communication skills is must to have.
• Knowledge on MMM (Market Mix Modelling) is good to have.

• Certification in Project Management.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, with specialization in strategy, supply chain, finance, information systems, or related area, and 3 years’ experience in product design.
• Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
