Position: Mainframe Security Administrator/SME (Top Secret Security) - Remote
Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Top Secret (TSS) Security Administrator for a Texas State client. This is a remote (WFH) contract position supporting legacy mainframe systems and ongoing transformation initiatives. The candidate will act as a subject matter expert for mainframe security and z/OS administration, ensuring system security, compliance, and day-to-day operational support.

Austin, TX (WFH / Remote) Duration: 6 Months Contract Responsibilities:
Administer and support CA Top Secret (TSS) security Perform senior-level z/OS system administration Manage user access, security profiles, and account creation Handle certificate renewals, TLS/SSL configuration, SFTP/FTPS Monitor security, system performance, and compliance Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe security and system issues Support JES2, OMVS (z/OS Unix), SMS environments Work with Network, Application, and Operations teams Support job scheduling, production control, and batch jobs

Experience with Informatica Power Exchange (CDC) is a plus Required

Skills & Experience:

8+ years of hands-on experience with Mainframe Top Secret (TSS) 5+ years of z/OS Administration 5+ years with JES2, OMVS, SMS 3+ years with TLS/SSL, certificates, RSA keys, SFTP/FTPS Strong knowledge of mainframe security, audits, and compliance Preferred

Skills:
