Leads the development of IT project objectives, charter, scope, deliverables, requirements, and success criteria to define expectations and achieve continuity across all departments;
Conducts project intake to address project priorities, including establishing metrics and executing performance evaluation criteria;
Constructs and refines plans for IT projects, integrating project goals, system specifications, staffing levels, financial resources, and delivery timelines;
Selects and allocates project resources (internal team members, vendors, consultants, etc.) by considering the skill sets, capacity, and project requirements to optimize efficiency and collaborates with project team to identify and resolve problems;
Creates budget and tracks project milestones and deliverables to monitor quality and ensure completion on time and on budget, as well as determining Return on Investment (ROI);
Plans, schedules, and tracks project deliverables and dependencies using task management software to provide visibility into real-time updates on IT assignments;
Develops risk management processes, identifies risks, assesses risk impact, and develops risk mitigation plans to improve change management procedures, internal communication practices, and training methods;
Formulates and executes a communication strategy to keep stakeholders informed throughout the project lifecycle;
Evaluates and authorizes revisions to project strategies and deliverables;
Monitors and evaluates team member performance and provides feedback, as needed;
Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment remains consistent;
Facilitates team meetings and engages team members, communicating and maintaining stakeholder expectations, and driving action items and resolution of decisions;
Conducts project evaluations upon project close-out that capture lessons learned to enhance future execution plans; and Maintains project timelines by managing project schedules that address ongoing and potential issues, risks, and scope changes, and ensures information is accounted for to manage project budgets and resources. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following experience and skills are required:
Demonstrated high level of proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and business applications including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
Experience with project management methodologies, frameworks, and best practices;
Experience with creating various documentation: RFP, Project Plan & Charter, UAT/Training/Communication/Change Management Plans, Project Status Reports, and meeting notes;
Experience with : project portfolio management, capacity planning and resource allocation, scalable project management methodology, group facilitation, change management and organizational transformation, training and communication planning, and risk management;
Experience with managing multiple, concurrent projects;
Experience with writing complete, clear, and accurate Project Plan documentation;
Experience with developing data migration plans and acceptance criteria;
Experience with managing cross-functional technology projects with technical and non-technical staff;
Cross-functional system implementation experience, with integrations and data migration;
Experience with vendor management;
Experience interacting with stakeholders at various levels;
Experience with leading and facilitating meetings, reach consensus and drive decision-making;
Experience with development tools and software – Microsoft Server;
Experience with ERP software – Google Enterprise Admin, CCNA, AWS Cloud Practitioner;
Experience with Project management tools – JIRA, Microsoft Teams; and
Experience with Hardware management – TCP/IP. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology Management, Computer Engineering or a related field, and at least two years of experience as an IT Project Manager or a related occupation.
