Position: Senior QA Automation Engineer – 100% Remote *Completed*

Job Description

This role involves QA activities with a focus on automation for our enterprise products. Responsibilities include maintaining a test automation framework, creating and executing test plans, and coordinating testing efforts with QA and development teams. Candidates should possess strong computer science skills, a customer satisfaction mindset, and a proven ability to leverage technology to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities

To succeed, you should be proactive, independent, and able to work well in a small team environment. Your tasks will include:

  • Evaluating and implementing QA best practices, including integration, manual, and automated testing.
  • Designing and developing test strategies and plans based on product requirements.
  • Testing releases and maintaining automated tests aligned with new features.
  • Supporting QA infrastructure within a CI/CD environment.
  • Contributing to automated testing libraries (Python API, Selenium) and developing tools to meet quality goals.
  • Coordinating and executing QA activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Reviewing feature requirements and technical design documents.
  • Skills and Qualifications

    Candidates must have strong computer science skills, a passion for quality, and experience leveraging technology to build reliable products. Requirements include:

    • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • At least 4 years of experience in automating web UI and server APIs using frameworks.
    • Experience with software development and quality assurance processes.
    • Proficiency in technical documentation, defect reporting, and issue tracking.
    • Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Familiarity with Docker and Pycharm IDE is a plus.
    • Ability to work proactively and independently, as well as collaboratively.
