Join Smile Digital Health as a Senior Performance Tester. In this remote role you will design, develop and execute performance test plans to ensure our software systems are scalable, responsive and reliable.

• Perform stress, load, regression and performance testing to validate production readiness of software applications and infrastructure.
• Model performance scenarios, perform initial analysis and identify potential system and resource bottlenecks.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure testing requirements are captured and integrated into the test plan.
• Design, develop and execute performance test plans across multiple projects, document results and help identify root causes.
• Analyze non‑functional requirements and determine the best test strategy/approach.
• Collect, analyze and report performance testing results to stakeholders.
• Understand the technical features of Smile Digital Health’s products to plan for testing and other QA activities.
• Review performance test scripts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide recommendations to improve product performance and scalability.
• Design, implement and maintain performance test frameworks.
• Use JMeter (or similar tools) to execute load and performance tests against APIs and web applications.
• Design and execute daily load benchmarks as well as larger, system‑level tests.
• Track and report billable hours in Netsuite, ensuring accurate recording and project management compliance.

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing.
• Experience with service virtualization and performance test data management tools.
• Experience with application monitoring, alerting and log tracing tools.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL Server/Azure SQL databases.
• Excellent technical documentation skills.
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies and Agile project experience.
• Experience with MS Azure or other major public cloud vendors (highly preferred).
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure CLI, distributed JMeter execution, OAuth 2.0 API Authorization and Linux bash (highly preferred).
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related work experience.
