job:  llc seeks a senior engineer, systems in new york, ny to work, administer, and manage retail e-commerce platforms using salesforce service cloud (sfsc) and salesforce commerce cloud (sfcc). The role includes setting up alerting systems on datadog and opsgenie, automating tls/ssl certificates, managing web application firewall (waf) rules, collaborating with networks and security to open firewalls and dns requests, troubleshooting application and web server issues, configuring akamai services, and utilizing ci/cd tools such as jenkins, circleci, and terraform.

• administer and manage retail e-commerce platforms via sfsc and sfcc.
• set up alerting systems on datadog and opsgenie to improve response time and reduce downtime.
• automate tls/ssl certificates and manage waf rules per enterprise security standards.
• collaborate with networks and security team for firewall and dns configuration.
• troubleshoot application and web server issues ensuring zero downtime.
• configure and manage akamai services, properties, behaviors, caching rules, edge hostnames, and ssl certificates.
• leverage ci/cd tools (jenkins, circleci, terraform) to streamline development and deployment.
• maintain monitoring and alerting systems using new relic and datadog.
• script and automate routine maintenance using bash and python.

• bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• at least 3 years of experience administering and troubleshooting akamai’s cdn and waf for production workloads.
• experience with ci/cd toolsets (jenkins, circleci) for deployment and automation.
• proficiency in bash and python scripting.
• experience administering and troubleshooting linux/unix systems and on‑premises/cloud networking.
• telecommuting and/or working from home permitted; otherwise, must report to work site.
