Job SummaryThe Data Entry Analyst plays a dual role of ensuring the accurate entry of critical data while also analyzing that data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. This position requires a blend of precision, analytical thinking, and strong data management skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Accurately enter and update information in databases and data platforms
- Review large data sets to identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, or duplications
- Conduct basic data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports and dashboards for internal use
- Work with team members to improve data quality, processes, and reporting methods
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Ensure compliance with data governance and company policies
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in data entry, analysis, or a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and Google Sheets
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker (a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify data trends or discrepancies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience with SQL, databases, or CRM/ERP systems
- Understanding of data validation rules and best practices in data management
- Previous experience in a tech-driven or analytical role
