• Provide solutions to complex technical problems requiring thorough analysis and evaluation
• Design and perform system builds to meet customer needs in alignment with the organization's architecture
• Collect and analyze information from system users to formulate system procedures and conduct feasibility studies
• Write system and configuration specifications to meet user needs upon implementation
• Assist with system upgrades and improvements through testing and support

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience, including one year of direct IT application experience
• Broad knowledge of the system development life cycle and application development
• Understanding of workflows in at least one central application area, including troubleshooting tools
• Competent knowledge of interactions between various application subspecialties

• Bachelor's degree in business, health informatics, computer science, or a clinically related field
• Previous experience in the training, build, and/or support of electronic health record systems
• Certification in Epic module(s) relevant to the area of responsibility
• Ability to independently develop approaches to moderate solutions with accuracy and sound judgment
• Experience with key clinical areas and/or the revenue cycle
