Senior Systems Engineer (REMOTE) – Jobgether
We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer – REMOTE to join Jobgether’s Global IT organization. In this pivotal role, you will help modernize legacy infrastructure, improve automation practices, and align with ITIL-based standards, directly influencing system availability and reliability to enhance patient outcomes worldwide.
Responsibilities- Implement and maintain infrastructure configurations according to best practices.
- Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance for potential issues.
- Conduct routine system maintenance and minimize disruption to operations.
- Utilize ITIL-based processes for efficient issue resolution.
- Collaborate to resolve complex incidents and escalated tickets.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to support operations.
- Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Promote automation to enhance IT systems' reliability.
- Stay updated on systems technology developments and innovations.
- Bachelor's Degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of prior industry experience (Enterprise preferred).
- Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- Proven experience in Linux/Windows installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience in multi-site datacenter operations.
- Relevant certification in support technology field.
